PARLOUR RAISES $10,000 FOR HOWARD BROWN HEALTH CENTER
Parlour on Clark, 6341 N. Clark, held their first annual "Pay It Forward" Christmas Benefit on Friday December 17th. The beneficiary of the event was Howard Brown Health Center, specifically their Lifeline Appeal to raise $500,000 in 50 days. The event was a huge success raising $5,000 through silent auction, raffles, and donations with a match of $5,000 from an anonymous donor. Parlour firmly believes in giving back to the community and is thrilled to have generated $10,000 at their event. "Howard Brown has a very dear place in my heart", states Parlour owner Jennifer Murphy. "They were instrumental in providing not only health care but sincere kindness to my mom while she was between private insurance and Medicare. It is amazing just how many lives they have touched within the community and outside of it as well."
Many thanks go out to the wonderful and generous people that came together to make this event possible.
"We loved seeing the community rally for this very special and important organization", said Parlour owner Nikki Calhoun.
Parlour will select a beneficiary each year for their annual "Pay It Forward" Christmas Benefit.
